Äußert sich über seinen Artikel ›The End‹: »My article was certainly not an expression of malice against the German people, but rather an expression of pain at the terrible downfall of Germany with which every person of German birth somehow feels concerned. Every German should have a feeling of guilt with regard to the crimes which have lead Germany into the abyss...« Teilt J.’s Hoffnung, dass Deutschland eine Zukunft habe. Die Vitalität eines solchen Volkes könne nicht durch eine Katastrophe gebrochen werden, sondern werde mit neuen Kräften auferstehen.
